Soul to Bare
I would like to say that my life has been full of you,
But we’re apart and it wouldn’t be true.
With you my entire life I would share,
All I need is a simple gesture to show you care.
You say give you time to know if it’s real,
How can you not know how we feel.
My god we’ve known each other since eighth grade,
How can you question the love we’ve made.
Sometimes I ask myself is it really worth it,
Maybe I should give up, just quit.
But then, no I say,
Soon will come the day.
To you my heart belongs
The day is near to right the wrong
And when it comes time for my soul to bare,
I know that you will still be there.
